Following the first national lockdown in 2020, teachers reported that returning young people were less active, less healthy and less confident than ever before.  We piloted an online fitness and tennis programme #TennisAtHome where 50 young people from each of the secondary schools were given a free tennis racquet plus training ball.  The feedback from young people was amazing.  90% increased their weekly physical activity levels.  85% said they had learned new skills.  70% said they wanted to continue playing tennis.  This new grant from NLCF will help us shape more participation through tennis and engage more kids to help everyone emerge from a difficult few years.  Supported by Ninestiles, Ark Victoria and a positive team of partners!
