SLF’s LTA Tennis Foundation tennis programme Building Character through Tennis rated ‘Highly Commended’ by Youth Sport Trust and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
We are delighted to announce that, with the promotional assistance of our SGO in Birmingham Owen Lamprey, SLF has received a ‘Highly Commended’ Award on 10th June 2025 from Youth Sport Trust, the National Lottery, Sport England and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport in June 2025.
This was recognition for the excellent work achieved by SLF’s team of coaches and Operations Director who worked hard throughout the year delivering our Building Character through Tennis programme run with partners the LTA Tennis Foundation in 5 Birmingham primary schools in 2024-25.
We hope very much that this recognition and our dedication to delivering sport and education programmes in the UK will lead to an expansion of opportunities available to young people both here and in the Caribbean.
