Chair of Trustees Lord Newby hosted a dinner at the House of Lords at the end of June to honour England cricketer Moeen Ali and confirm the Foundation’s commitment to planning his legacy programme in Birmingham.

Guests joined from the Football Association, Lawn Tennis Association, National Asian Cricket Council and Central England Co-operative as well as financial sector and law to hear plans for an indoor sports centre, coaching and competition programme to be established in east Birmingham. The dinner was kindly sponsored by legal firm Squire Patton Boggs.

Further plans will be announced in spring 2020.
